:: The Official Biography of Denver Jade & The Jaded ::

For roughly half a decade, from 1999 through 2005, Denver Jade & The Jaded was one of the most popular underground indie rock bands in the United States. After recording six self-released albums between 1999-2004, the Columbus, Ohio based group attracted a handful of fans within the American indie rock underground circuit.

The band toured under several different names between 1999-2005 including ‘Merge’, ‘The City Limits Stop’, ‘Guided Tours’, ‘The Jaded’, and finally, ‘Denver Jade & The Jaded’. The band also endured ever changing line-ups during this same tenure. It is estimated that nearly 15 different musicians passed through the band in just 6 years.

In 2004 the band inked a deal with Sound Logic Studios and recorded their first official album with Grammy nominated producer Jeff Anderson in Lafayette, Indiana and Ron Boustead (Smashing Pumpkins, Rolling Stones) in Los Angeles, California. At this time the band was also working with their management group LaMasters Group Entertainment and record label Ni Ni Records.

The album was well received and released to a sold out crowd on July 16, 2005 at Promowest-The Basement music venue in Columbus, Ohio. This show was part of The Jaded’s ‘Automatic’ US/UK Summer Tour, which consisted of (43) shows in (20) different US states and (14) shows in the UK leg of the tour. The Jaded played shows at many of the well-known music venues across the nation including The Viper Room (Hollywood, CA), The Baggot Inn (Greenwich Village, NYC), Hard Rock Café (Cleveland, OH), The Continental (Buffalo, NY), and Muse Music (Provo, UT), to name a few.

The band eventually dissolved in 2005 after playing (102) shows in over (41) different cities/towns in (20) different states. During this same tenure the band also released (6) studio albums, (1) live album, and (1) official music video.

The band released their final album titled ‘1.618 Sunset Blvd.’ off their own record label Ni Ni Records on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, which serves as a sort of ‘best of’ album. The album features songs recorded by the band between 1999 and 2009 respectively.
